By far the most unprofessional place I've been in my life. Very ghetto and ignorant. They transfer you to the wrong department over and over again. Each person I spoke to was dumber than the last. Automated service is frustrating and confusing. Its impossible to get information. When I finally got the right number, no answer even after ten phone calls. Everyone from Allen Park or Melvindale has a learning disability. Rapist, rapist, rapist. No stars for you dumbies.
Took over an hour to get an officer to come out and do a report. Who handles this department? They make enough money to do more work. It smelled like chicken when we walked in, so maybe they took an hour to eat. Overall I think we need progressive officers on that team.
Great people. Even though they have written tickets to me in the past, great to work with, if you are calm and cool, they are the same. Goes with any interaction, even outside of police.
Very courteous officers. Handled a very bad case for me professionally. I'm black by the way. It shouldn't and doesn't make a difference to me, but I just wanted to let people know not all black people hate officers of the law. There's good and bad everywhere, these are good guys. Thanks.
These officiers are extremely nice. Especially officer Dobbs. I cought a case here of retail fraud and the officers were extremely nice and did not pass judgement in making jokes or poke fun at me or anything rude they were extremely nice upon my court date for a pre-trial conference I arrived again at Allen Park 4 the court date and officer dobbs was extremely nice on the ride to the courthouse and back upon my release I had no one to give me a ride home and he offered to give me a ride home with the police cruiser something that 90 percent of your officers will not do and simply refuse to do my experience with this case these police officers has changed my life a lot. In addition I used to hate police officers and thought they were all bad and just out to get your money but I learned from this Police Department they only have a job to do and they're doing it and they do it well you're about not judging you and making things worse for you only just doing their job and being very courteous while they do it. Officer Dobbs deserves a medal or reward for his outstanding courtesy.
