According to tracking, my package has been at this post office for 6 days and hasn't moved. Looks like there's no way I'll get this in time for Christmas. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll EVER get it!
I have another package there somewhere currently and its been over a week so I guess I'm just SOL again.
This is not where your packages go for sort before they are shipped to your residence. That would be the Allen Park Distribution Center. A lot of false ratings on here due to ignorance. Go leave a bad review of the Allen Park Distribution Center. I currently have a lost package as well.
Had an order that UPS delivered here on 12-19-17 that was supposed to be delivered to my home by 12-21-17 Well it's 950 on the 23rd, so it looks like the ball has been dropped for Christmas. From what I can tell, they haven't even scanned my package yet.
They lost a package last month that never was recovered. I went to the help section of the USPS website and filed a type of missing package report. I received a lukewarm form letter of a response but still have no package.
Much to my dismay I'm fairy certain all of my packages get routed through Allen Park before getting sent on to my home so having anything mailed through USPS has become a game of package roulette it would seem.
For some reason my package was returned the facility as undeliverable. Because I caught the error the same day that it should have been delivered, I contacted the Post Office to ask them to intervene and make sure package wasn't sent back. I had the most pleasant conversation with a worker who pulled up a picture of the package, checked the shipping label and helped me determine why the package was undeliverable (it ended up being an error on the part of the carrier). She was able to leave a message for the post carrier and assured my package would be delivered the next day. I have no complaints about the service I received. The worker was so friendly and helpful.
I would also give zero stars if I could.
Beyond infuriating to have this happen twice this summer.
